The Gardens of Ravenwood
Where nourishment, healing, and the rhythms of the seasons meet
At Ravenwood, the gardens are a natural extension of our relationship with the land. Nestled among the forest of our wild and beautiful 40-acre property, our vegetable, herb, and medicinal gardens grow in harmony with the surrounding landscape. As part of our working farmland within the Agricultural Land Reserve (ALR), these living gardens reflect our commitment to cultivating nourishment, healing, and stewardship of the land.

Guests are welcome to wander the garden paths, pause among the beds, and breathe in the fragrance of culinary and medicinal herbs. Throughout the growing season, the gardens offer a quiet window into the rhythms of a small working farm where vegetables, herbs, and traditional healing plants are tended with care. You will often find us tending the beds, harvesting vegetables, and caring for the plants that sustain both body and spirit.

For those who wish to experience the harvest, seasonal garden baskets filled with freshly gathered produce and herbs can be prepared and purchased for your stay. Guests who feel called to connect more deeply may also spend time in the gardens themselves—learning about edible and medicinal plants, helping with seasonal tasks, and experiencing the simple beauty of food grown directly from the soil.

Seasonal Garden Basket
Enhance your stay with a Ravenwood Garden Basket, thoughtfully prepared with fresh vegetables, herbs, and seasonal harvest gathered directly from our gardens. Each basket reflects what is flourishing at the time of your visit and may include salad greens, culinary herbs, garden vegetables, herbal teas, or medicinal plants grown on the land.
This simple offering allows guests to enjoy the flavors of the garden while experiencing the abundance of Ravenwood’s working agricultural landscape.

Time in the Garden
Guests who wish to connect more deeply with the land are welcome to spend time in the gardens alongside us. Depending on the season, this may include harvesting vegetables, learning about medicinal and edible herbs, or helping with simple garden tasks.

It’s a peaceful and grounding way to experience the living rhythms of Ravenwood and the quiet joy of tending the soil.
