Made from hand harvested cottonwood buds this cream is one of my go-to's. Balm of Gilead is the herbal name for the medicine derived from cottonwood tree species. Cottonwood is strong antibiotic, antifungal, expectorant and anti-inflammatory medicine. For all these reasons, it makes an amazing cream for the skin. I’ve used it for a daily face and hand cream, and for a wound/burn cream. It's quite lovely.
